A Wealth Of Experience
Euan Ferguson has over 40 years of field, operational, managerial and executive experience in fire and emergency management. He has been deeply involved in re-shaping organisations following hard lessons learned after major disasters. Examples include recommendations made to CFA after the tragic 1998 Linton bushfire; re-shaping the CFS following the 2005 Wangary (S.A.) bushfire; implementing recommendations from the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission; and reframing rural fire management in W.A. following the 2016 Waroona bushfire. Euan has acted in leadership roles at a local, state, national and international level. He brings a grounded, pragmatic and strategic view, focused on support to front line personnel and service to the community in it's time of need.
